Bruno

Toby's had Bruno since he was 2 years old. It was a little hard to say goodbye, but he just isn't what we need anymore. He'll make someone an EXCELLENT head horse!
This little cowboy was on his BEST behavior, and even sat in the sale ring for 8 hours on Saturday, with only a few breaks for bathroom and food! He had a blast.

We spent a 3-day weekend in Salina last weekend, at the Spring Spectacular Horse Sale. Friday, Toby showed "Bruno" in the rope horse preview, and Saturday evening, he sold in the auction. We were very fortunate to get a good sale on him, especially since he is 15 years old. Bruno was a great head horse who loved his job. Toby did lots of team roping on him before, but now we mostly do ranch rodeos and ranch work, and well...he'd rather be in a box! We also came home with two yearling colts--a grey stud, and a red roan filly (for Toby's brother). Jackson and I did a little shopping for some summer clothes, and did hit the jackpot there.

It sure is funny how weekend trips change when you add in a kid and a pregnancy! We brought a cooler along...but this time it was full of milk, water, and snacks. Who woulda' thought?!

Baby "Boy" is growing and moving all about now. I'm finding it hard to comprehend that in just a few more months, we'll have another baby in the mix. Still don't have a name picked...little bit harder this time!
