Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration?
Welcome to my tree.
Nestled in the branches are two little paper hands...these hands are one of my favorite memories of my Great-Grandma Betty. If you notice the bottom one, it says "Megan, 4 months..."
Every year, when we were little kids (and for generations before), she traced our hands and decorated the tree with them.
For some reason, I don't have each of my traced hands, but I remember them nestled in her tree. I also remember my Dad's traced hand in that same tree!
As I decorate my tree now, these two hands are my favorite thing that I put up for Christmas.
